HERE’S ALL the INFORMATION YOU NEED ABOUT THE 2022 APPLICATION PROCESS
This amazing program brings recent reservists from the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) on a 7-10 day, all expense paid trip in october to our NORTHERN WESTCHESTER community as good-will ambassadors for Israel and the IDF. We look forward to your being a part of it.
As a member of this very special delegation, you will be housed by host families, with buddy families helping out. The main focus during your stay will be to connect with people in our area through synagogue visits, parlor meetings, school and hebrew school visits, community forums, church groups, meetings with teens and middle schoolers and more! We know it will be a life- changing experience for you!
To be considered as a member of the delegation, you must be a recently released IDF Officer with the following criteria:
You must have proof of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
You must have served in the IDF as an Officer
Your release date has to be less than 2 years ago
You will need to submit two official references
You must obtain a valid visa (or have one)
You must sign a release form
You must obtain travel insurance (to be reimbursed by Tzahal Shalom)
