TZAHAL SHALOM of Northern Westchester
A NEW INITIATIVE FROM TZAHAL SHALOM OF NORTHERN WESTCHESTER
'FRIENDS OF TZAHAL SHALOM'
Since 2006, 94 Israeli soldiers/reservists have visited our community as part of a Tzahal Shalom delegation. Some of our alumni are still in the IDF, others are in school, some are traveling the world, many have started their careers. They all have ONE thing in common: a connection to Northern Westchester and the people that they met while they were here.
Tzahal Shalom of Northern Westchester has organized many of our alumni and set up a program for members of our Northern Westchester community traveling to Israel to connect or reconnect with our 'Friends' in Israel.
Simply fill out the form below and email it back to us. Let us know if you would like to enjoy the company of one of our alumni at dinner or maybe for a day of touring or some other activity that you may suggest. We will try our best to match you up accordingly.
Learn about Israel from an Israeli! See Israel through the eyes of someone who served in the IDF!!
Contact us at: email@example.com with any questions. We look forward to hearing from you!
Please note that all costs (meals etc) are to be covered by the visiting family.
LET US SET UP A VISIT WITH A TZAHAL SHALOM IDF ALUMNI FOR YOU IN ISRAEL!
Dearest Tzahal Shalom!
Last evening I had the honor of sharing time and experiences with David V. and his family :)
We had a wonderful dinner in a restaurant called "Mona" in Jerusalem. I especially enjoyed the time with the youngsters! They had excellent questions and perspectives about the life in Israel, serving the IDF, and the complexity of our day to day challenges.
Looking forward for the next time our brothers and sisters from the US
would like to spend some time with Israeli officers on their visit, I would be honored to share my experiences.
Miss you a lot!

Dear Tzahal Shalom of Northern Westchester,
Toby and I had a great time meeting Gal and Barak in Tel Aviv. It was a real highlight of our amazing trip. We met at a cafe for a really nice lunch. We knew Gal from this past delegation, so it was great to see him again. And even though we did not know Barak previously, he was so friendly and warm, we felt like we had always known him. The conversation was nonstop and Toby (12) and I really enjoyed their company.
Gal had to work and was nice enough to meet us during his lunch hour. We walked around a little bit after lunch and then Barak drove us to the museum (so nice!).
Thank you again for arranging this. I will be back in Israel in January 2020, so you will be hearing from me again! 😊
